We believe God is a triune Being, one in essence and eternally existing in three equal persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
(John 10:30; Deut. 6:4; Matt. 3:16, 17; Acts 5:3, 4; II Cor. 13:14)
We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments (66 books) to be the Word of God – God’s written revelation to man. We believe in the plenary, verbal inspiration of the Bible by the Holy Spirit. These scriptures are inerrant in original manuscripts and of supreme authority and the final rule of faith and life. II Tim. 3:16; II Peter 1:21; Isaiah 8:20
We believe God is a triune Being, one in essence and eternally existing in three equal persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
(John 10:30; Deut. 6:4; Matt. 3:16, 17; Acts 5:3, 4; II Cor. 13:14)
We believe Jesus Christ is God; ever existed with the Father and the Holy Spirit and that in His incarnation was begotten by the Holy Spirit; born of the virgin Mary; died for the sins as a substitutionary sacrifice; arose bodily from the grave’ ascended into Heaven and will return again to earth personally and in that body. (John 1:1; Luke 1:35; I Peter 1:18, 19; Luke 24:35-48; Rev. 19:11-16)
We believe the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead and He convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgement; He is the supernatural agent in regeneration; He baptizes, indwells and seals all believers unto the day of redemption.
(John 16: 8-11; I Cor. 12:12-14; Eph. 1:13-14)
We believe man was created in the image of God as a special act and not evolved; man sinned by his own choice resulting in the total depravity of the human race. Man is thus totally dependent on God’s mercy and grace for redemption.
(Rom. 5:12; Gen. 1:26, 2:17; Eph. 2:1-3; Isaiah 64:6)
We believe salvation from sin’s penalty, power and presence is by faith alone in Jesus Christ as personal Savior; the believer has assurance of his salvation and is secure in Christ forever. There will be no chance after this life for repentance or salvation.
(John 1:12; 3:16, 5:24; Luke 16:19-31; Rom. 8:1, 38, 39; I John 5:13)
We accept the dispensational interpretation of Scripture including the Blessed Hope; the personal, premillennial, pretribulation, and imminent return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, which is known as the Rapture of the Church. We also believe in the personal, visible and glorious return of Christ to the earth with His Saints at the end of the Great Tribulation. This phase of His coming is known as the Revelation of Jesus Christ. When He returns to earth with His Saints, we believe that Jesus Christ will establish His millennial Kingdom. (I Thess. 4:13-18, 5:9; Rev. 19:11-20:6; Zech. 14:4-11)
We believe that there will be a literal resurrection of the dead; the saved at the time of the rapture then to be forever with the Lord; the unsaved after the millennial reign of Christ, then to appear at the judgment of the great white throne and committed to eternal conscious torment and punishment in the lake of fire. (John 14: 1-3; I Thess. 4:16; Rev. 21:1-7; Matt. 25:46; Rev. 20:11-15)
We believe Satan is a personal being, the author of sin and cause of the fall on man; he is the god of this age, the tempter and deceiver and he will be eternally punished with his angels in the lake of fire.
(Job 1:6,7; II Thess. 2:7-9; Matt. 4:2-11; Rev. 20:10)
We believe in a Heaven and a Hell. Heaven, the place of eternal conscious joy for all who receive Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. Hell, the place of eternal conscious punishment in the lake of fire for all who reject Jesus Christ and those dying in their sin.
(Psalm 9:17; John 14:1-6; II Thess. 1:7-9; Rev. 20:10-15)
We believe there is a spiritual unity of all persons born again by the Holy Spirit; this company is called the church or body of Christ.
(I Cor. 12:13; Eph. 1:22, 23; 5:25-27; II Cor. 11:2)
We believe the local church is an assembly of regenerated persons; an independent, autonomous, democratic body having scripturally designated officers and leaders.
(Acts 14: 23-27, 20:17; I Tim. 3:1-13; Titus 1:5-11)
We believe in two ordinances given to the Church for this age are: Baptism, which is the immersion in water of those saving faith in Jesus Christ in order to portray to the world the believer’s union with Christ in God’s Word and a public testimony who profess to salvation; and Communion or the Lord’s Table to be regularly observed by believers as a memorial of Christ’s death until He returns.
(Matt. 28:19; Rom. 6:3-5; Acts 8:36, 37; I Cor. 11:23-29; Luke 22:19)
We believe that the Scriptures clearly teach non-conformity to the world for every believer; that born-again people should be separated from the world unto Christ; that it is clearly commanded of God to all believers to live lives of separation for all worldly and sinful practices and to be holy as He is holy. We believe that positional sanctification occurs at the moment of regeneration and that practical sanctification is to be progressive throughout the entire life span of a believer here on earth. God’s provision for holy living is in the indwelling person and power of the Holy Spirit and the believer’s yieldedness to Him; and by the powerful Word of God.
(Col. 3: 1-4; II Cor. 6: 14-17; Rom. 6:1-14; I Peter 1: 14-16)
We believe that marriage was ordained by God, defined in His Word the Bible, and celebrated by many biblical contexts throughout the Holy Bible, including Jesus performing his first miracle at a wedding. We believe that marriage is a fundamental institution of society and the church. Because of this biblical conviction, we believe that marriage should be between a biological man and woman, and that no believer should marry an unbeliever. If a believer is already married to an unbeliever, they should remain married and seek to win their spouse to Christ in a loving manner.
